Prominent professor of neuropsychopharmacology wants the UK medical community to embrace cannabis to meet patients urgent clinical needs.

The Dutch government is to press ahead with experiments in regulated marijuana production involving 10 licenced growers, according to the detailed plans which were published on Thursday.

Though it is still illegal to use marijuana in Uganda, the government in its bid to claim a stake in the lucrative business and generate revenue has landed deals to export medical marijuana products to Canada and Germany to the tune of Shs600b ($160 million) in June.

Constables now have the option of letting simple stoners go their merry way.

As Canada’s six-month anniversary of marijuana legalization day approaches, it’s clear that it's been a bit of a rocky road.

Medical marijuana is technically legal in the UK, but it's extremely difficult for patients to obtain legally, so the parents of many sick children have resorted to smuggling the drug.
