A group that hopes to legalize recreational marijuana in North Dakota has submitted language for its proposed statutory initiated measure to the secretary of state for approval.

South Dakota residents will likely get the chance to vote on two different marijuana initiatives during next year’s election.

The online seminar will be powered by real-life law enforcement experience.

About two dozen medical marijuana patients protested outside the state Health Department on Wednesday to draw attention to shortcomings in the state’s medical marijuana program and call for action to make the drug more affordable and accessible.
