The two revamped sites are now fully integrated into WeedLife’s ground-breaking network of websites and applications for legal marijuana businesses and consumers – while the SEO deal can assist start-ups competing online with established cannabis businesses.

DENVER (May 23, 2016) – It’s been an historic month for the WeedLife Network, a business social network and digital marketplace with more than 40 websites and app tools developed for the cannabis industry.

Earlier this month The WeedLife Network’s parent company, Social Life Network Inc., was approved for trading on the US Stock Market Exchanges under the symbol WDLF. And in celebration of those changes the company is making a series of announcements this week.

Starting today, two new versions of the network’s Edibles Map and Vape Pen Map sites have been unveiled, with the new mobile apps for android and IOS that will be released in the coming month.

For nearly two years now, the Edibles Map has been invaluable for those looking online for marijuana edibles at dispensary locations. Consumers can easily search by location or brand, to find the best edibles to fit their needs.

WeedLife’s Vape Pen Map site, meanwhile, has become a favorite online guide for consumers searching for vape pens and vape pen cartridges at dispensary locations. The site allows users to look by location or by brand, when researching the best vapes to fit their needs.

And now, says Mike Fuller, WeedLife’s Director of Search Marketing, the two sites are completely integrated into The WeedLife Network’s ProListings business directory system.

“That means the Vape Pen Map and Edibles Map sites, and coming mobile apps, now work as information hubs for both cannabis companies and their customers,” he notes, “by educating customers about what edibles are offered and at what locations. At the same time, edibles companies can use the online mapping system to point potential and current customers towards their products and the dispensaries offering them.”

Traffic for the two sites was growing steadily even before the official release of the new versions. Monthly page views for both the Edibles Map and the Vape Pen Map have risen from a combined 25,000 back in mid-2014 to just over one million this past April.

Fuller says listings on the Edibles Map site now include 33 companies and nearly 200 dispensaries in at least eight states, and those numbers are growing rapidly.

“With as much traffic as we get on the sites, we actually have consumers contacting us over the phone to encourage more edible companies and vape pen brands to join,” he adds. “I have never seen anything like that happen for as many years as I’ve been working in different online business vertices”.

And to further honor The WeedLife Network’s ongoing evolution, the company is discounting its search engine optimization (SEO) services to the first ten cannabis or hemp businesses that take advantage of this opportunity. That assistance is now offered at a special monthly rate of $1,000, roughly a 42% discount off its normal rate.

“Great SEO can help a company stand out dramatically in the rapidly-evolving and highly competitive cannabis marketplace,” says WeedLife Network co-founder Andy Rodosevich; an expert in the cannabis, hemp and digital marketing industry. “It can dramatically raise online traffic and improve a cannabis company’s standings in search engine listings – which in turn can ensure that your company’s name and information is among the first seen when someone searches for your category of business.”

The new versions of the Edibles Map and Vape Pen map, meanwhile “are designed to help legal cannabis dispensaries and the companies that supply them streamline and strengthen their online presence,” says Rodosevich.

“It’s part of our mission to help expedite the growth of the cannabis industry, while shortening the learning curve of businesses and companies entering the marketplace”, adds Fuller.
